Earlier this month at Florida Hospital Tampa, we announced that we were the first hospital in the state to acquire Synaptive Medical's Brightmatter system with the next-generation Modus V robotic arm.Recently, Dr. Raul Olivera, the first neurosurgeon to use the system at FHTampa, talked to FOX 13's Dr. Joette Giovinco about the technology.

Florida Hospital Tampa is a 527-bed health center located in Tampa offering a range of services, including minimally invasive surgery and comprehensive stroke treatment. It acquired the full BrightMatter platform and Modus V in January 2018, and is the first hospital in Florida to make Modus V available to patients.
